American novelist, Anne Parrish, found one of her favorites, Jack Frost and Other Stories, while browsing bookstores in Paris. She then showed the book to her husband and told him how much she loved it as a child. Upon opening the book, he saw an inscription on the flyleaf that read, “ Anne Parrish, 209 N. Weber Street, Colorado Springs.” In short, it was her book.
