Gobble on fiber

High fiber foods are low in calories but keep you feeling full longer. It helps you control your late night cravings.  Eat a fiber rich evening meal that contains plenty of non-starchy vegetables like broccoli, onions, beans or cabbage. Veggies may not seem like the most appetizing midnight snack but they are great for late-night snacking for a lot of diet –friendly reasons. They are full of vitamins, minerals and water so you’ll feel less dehydrated when you wake up.  Veggies are also low in calories and fats so there is no need to worry about consuming too much.

 

Drink plenty of water

Before you reach that leftover pizza or ice cream from your fridge, hydrate yourself with a cup or two of water. Sometimes you might be mistaking thirst for hunger. You can also flavor it with sliced lemon or lime. Wait ten minutes, and if you still feel hungry and your stomach still grumbles, opt for a healthy snack or drink.
