Lucy Liu is an American actress, model, artist and occasional producer and director. She became known for playing the role of the vicious and ill-mannered Ling Woo in the television series Ally Mcbeal for which she was nominated for Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series and Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series. She also appeared in action movies such as one of the angels in Charlie’s Angels, playing O-ren Ishii in Kill Bill, Playback Chicago and animated hit series Kung Fu Panda.
