Bog Snorkeling
Bog snorkeling started in 1976 in United Kingdom and it happens every year. This sport takes place not on a road or sea but in a swamp, instead. Racers trek through almost 7 feet deep swamps to race to the finish line. Other bog snorkeling event take place particularly in Wales. Associated events incude the associated mountain bike hog snorkeling where contestants must ride through the bog on specially prepared mountain bikes and the bog snorkeling triathlon. All proceeds from the championship go to a local charity each year.
